As ASL teachers, we know our language is unique in many ways. In this workshop we are going to explore how to maximize whatever curriculum you have (district non-language specific, district ASL, or campus ASL). We will rediscover backwards design and practice tricks and tips to make your curriculum work for you! Each participant will leave ready to tackle back-to-school.

9am - 12pm:  workshop model of planning the first unit of the year

12pm - 1pm:  lunch on your own

1pm - 4pm:  afternoon application - stay and work on your first unit
